Abstract - Czech Republic Vertical Markets 2011–2015 IT Spending Forecast | Research | IDC CEMA

This IDC study provides a detailed overview of IT spending trends and forecasts for 17 vertical markets (or sectors) and 10 product and service categories in the Czech Republic. The study features overviews of key industry developments, industry challenges, and vertical-specific IT drivers and trends and includes tables detailing IT spending by vertical market for each product and service type for the 2010–2015 period. Analysis is based on continuous research, the monitoring of users' IT spending and emerging purchasing patterns, and supply- and demand-side research.

"The recovery of the Czech economy and its IT markets will be slow. In 2011, total IT spending of $4.94 billion is expected in the Czech Republic. A transition will take place, with manufacturers and utilities gaining in importance among IT vendors and government bodies taking a backseat. Demand for industry-specific solutions will skyrocket, and new service-delivery models will come to the fore in the very near future." – Senior Research Analyst Milan Kalal, IDC CEMA
